Classes

Polish your skills and learn new techniques.  

These classes are for knitters of ALL levels. Work on your choice of project, at your own pace. 

Days & Times:  Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays  6:30 PM - 8:30 PM ** 

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Friday, 9:00 am - 11:00 am ** 

Cost:  $70 for a 5 week session. 

       **Due to class size and the nature of our scheduling, we are not able to accommodate make-up classes if you are unable to attend. 

Workshops

Magic Loops Socks $60.00

Tired of DPN's? Try out socks on a 32” or 40" circular needle (aka the Magic Loop). You will make a baby sock in this class and get through all components of a sock. The Magic Loop method can be applied to any other small circumference item as well. You will LOVE  this method!  Pre-req:  K, P

Top Down Baby Sweater $45.00

Do you find the idea of fewer seams to sew appealing?  Does trying on a sweater as you make it to ensure the proper fit seem like a great idea?  Then this class is for you.  Learn everything you need to know about top down sweater construction while making a top down sample sweater. Pre-req: K,P

Beaded Bracelet $45.00

Join us to make the Mudra Cuff by Laura Nelkin. A few glass beads, some Czech Crystal beads and perle cotton are all that is needed  to make a pretty cuff bracelet. (The kit is available for $17).  The US size 1 double pointed needles  (dpns) are included the workshop fee.  Come early for the best color selection.  Pre-req:  K, P

How to Read a Chart $30.00

Many knitters yearn to knit fair isle sweaters and lacy shawls but choose not to because the patterns have charts.  Why miss out on so many great patterns when all you need is a little instruction and some support.   Pre-req:  K, P, SSK

Beaded Scarf $45.00 

Learn how to add some bling to your knitting!  Add beads and create this beautiful scarf on display in the shop.  Pre-req:  K, P

Warp and Weave $75.00

Weaving has become another of our popular workshops.  Learn to warp a rigid heddle loom, and weave a scarf.  You'll do everything, beginning to end.  FYI...space is VERY limited. Pre-req:  none      


When:  Saturday, May 18th,  9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Beginning Knitting $45.00

No time like the present to start!  This is the perfect introductory class.  Learn to cast on stitches, knit & purl & bind off. All of knitting is based on the knit and purl stitches so once you can knit and purl you can do ANYTHING!  Pre-req: None

Beginning Crochet $45.00

If texture is your thing, crochet is your friend. Start our with the basics, practice on a Spa cloth, and add another needlework skill to your resume. Pre-req: None


When:  Saturday, June 1st,  12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Entrelac $45.00

Entrelac is a knitting technique used to create a textured diamond pattenr.  Use a self striping yarn and create a beautiful scarf that will surely get noticed! Pre-req: K, P, reading your stitches
