Weaving has become another of our popular workshops.  Learn to warp a rigid heddle loom, and weave a scarf.  You'll do everything, beginning to end.  FYI...space is VERY limited.

You always need a baby gift!  learn to make something sweet, cute, and impressive.  Baby booties are fun little projects that can whip up in no time AND they pack a lot of techniques into one small project.

Magic Loop Socks

Tired of DPN's?  Try out socks on a 40" circular needle (aka the Magic Loop).  You will make a baby sock in this class and get through all components of a sock.  The Magic Loop method can be applied to any other small circumference item as well.  You will LOVE this method!

Entrelac is a knitting technique used to create a textured diamond pattern.  Use a self-striping yarn and create a beautiful scarf that will surely get noticed!

Cable Sampler

Twist and turn and away we go.  Cables are a great technique and look to add to a little spice to your project list.  Understand how to read cable patterns and charts and practice on this cable sampler scarf.

Short Rows & Knitting Backwards

Short rows are done on more projects than you may realize, shoulders, entrelac, multi-directional items.  While they help to create beautiful shaping it can sometimes be bothersome to constantly 'turn' your work.  So instead we'll knit backwards!  GREAT technique class!

Intricate and beautiful.  Lace knitting can be as addictive as sock knitting!  Understand how to balance your increases and decreases.  You will be able to create heirloom pieces that will definitely be noticed!

Drop-in fee is $15

If you need further assistance during other times,
please inquire about private lessons.

Registration for workshops is not complete until all fees are paid. We recommend using the SIGN UP! buttons listed under each workshop description and paying for class fees immediately to guarantee your slot.  If participants wish to reserve space over the phone, we can hold a slot for 3 days and accept credit card payments for class registration over the phone or you may stop into the shop to pay.  Receipts for transactions over the phone can be picked up during the next store visit or mailed upon request.

Cancellations made 1 week before the beginning of a class will receive a full refund of class fees.  Refund will be based on standard refund policy.  No refund will be issued for sessions not attended.  Additionally, we have extensive waiting lists for many of our classes and workshops.  If you are not able to attend please make every effort to let us know, so that we may offer your seat to another student.

Please keep in mind that class fees pay instructors, and help us to continue to provide fun, interesting, & educational classes and workshops.
