There isn't a better time to learn to knit than right now! Sign-up and learn the basics. Casting on, knit, purl. Also a great refresher class if you've stepped away for awhile. PERFECT Mother/Daughter class.

OK I've got the basics*...
In other words, advanced knitting. Jump into cables & lace. Excellent scarf project with a beautiful end result. Great summer project for the beach, car trip, or airplane. Works with ANY yarn.
*Must be able to knit, purl, & read your knitting.

Hairpin Lace
Intimidated by knitted lace? Learn a fun technique for beautiful lace using simple crochet and a 'hairpin lace' loom. In the first 2 hour session you will learn the basics of hairpin lace and begin the strips needed for a shawl. In the second class, you will join the strips to form your hairpin lace shawl.

Tired of your stitches falling off the double pointed needles? Get rid of your ladders, and learn to knit your socks on one 40" circular needle. You will knit an entire baby sock in this class which will take you through all the components of the sock.

Jewelry?!?!
Yes you CAN make knitted or crocheted jewelry...fun and easy (it also looks GREAT). Get a jump start on Christmas gifts. Choose from bracelets, neckalces, & earrings.

Entrelac
A knitting technique that creates a textured diamond pattern...similar to a basketweave. Use a self striping yarn and the effect is stunning. Entrelac is interesting, fun, and can be applied to anything from scarves to sweaters. You will start with a scarf and won't be able to put it down until you finish!

Mary's Magnificent Mittens
These mittens are all one-of-a-kind. Learn to do fair isle and a top down technique to knitting mittens. This workshop is two sessions. One session wil get you started and comfortable, and the next will guide you through joining the thumb and finishing the cuff. This is sure to be your 'go to' gift for the winter season.

| Registration for workshops is not complete until all fees are paid. Space will be held for three days if participants wish to reserve space over the phone or via e-mail. We can accept credit card payments for class registration over the phone to pay registration fees immediately or you may stop into the shop to pay. Receipts for transactions over the phone can be picked up during the next store visit or mailed upon request.
Cancellations made 1 week before the beginning of a class will receive a full refund of class fees. Refund will be based on standard refund policy. No refund will be issued for sessions not attended. Additionally, we have extensive waiting lists for many of our classes and workshops. If you are not able to attend please make every effort to let us know, so that we may offer your seat to another student.
Please keep in mind that class fees pay instructors, and help us to continue to provide fun, interesting, & educational classes and workshops.
